Control of the source water parameters
Periodically (1-2 times a year) analyze the source water for meeting the requirements mentioned in the unit data sheet.
After repairs of water supply networks or long downtime of old steel network pipelines (e.g. during weekends) a serious deterioration in the quality of tap water is possible. It is recommended to perform visual inspection of cold water quality and, if possible, to reject stagnant rusty water into the drainage.
If there is a pressure gauge in the pre-treatment unit, monitor the pressure of the source water.

Filtrate quality control
Check the quality of the filtrate daily using the conductivity detectors. A deterioration in the filtrate quality snows that the consumables need to be replaced soon.
Cartridge replacement frequency monitoring
Record the date of the last cartridge replacement/the date you plan to replace the cartridges by making a self-notes. It will help to prevent unit operation failure due to irregular replacement of consumables.
