Connection to the source water
The Aqualab units are connected to the tap water with tie-in connection. It has 1/2″ male and female threads to connect to the cold water line and a 3/8″ collet connector to connect the flexible water supply tube.
Shut off the water supply line, depressurize by opening the cold-water tap.
Make sure that the gaskets are in the place as part of the tie-in connection and flexible connection.
Screw the tie-in connection between the cold-water line and flexible connection to the cold-water tap. If the connection is not installed in a break, blank off one of the ends with a 1/2" plug.
Make sure the tie-in connection tap is closed. Supply water into the tubing and make sure the connections are leaktight.
Install the 3/8" flexible tubing in the collet clamp mode of the faucet.
Insert the tubing into the quick connect fitting of the ball valve at the inlet to the remote pre-treatment unit (BPO) supplied complete with a demineralization unit. Insert the BPO outlet tube into the HC3 "source water" quick connect fitting of the desalination module.
If there is no BPO, use a 1/4" tube-to-tube reducing connector, insert the tubing of the tie-in connection into the quick connect fitting HC3 "source water" of the desalination module.
Open the tie-in connection tap.

Connecting to the drain system
The Aqualab units are connected to the drain system with tie-in connection. It is designed to mount on a drain tube of 40-50 mm.
Select a connection point on the drain tubing, tag it.
Drill a 6 mm hole in the tubing.
Glue the provided gasket to the tube by aligning the holes on the gasket and tubing.
Install the tie-in clamp to the tubing.
Tighten the clamp with the provided bolts. Insert the НС5 "concentrate" tube of the desalination module or other reject connector into the tie-in collet.
Mount the retaining clip.
Drill a 6 mm hole in the tubing.
Glue the provided gasket to the tube by aligning the holes on the gasket and tubing.
Install the tie-in clamp to the tubing.
Tighten the clamp with the provided bolts. Insert the НС5 "concentrate" tube of the desalination module or other reject connector into the tie-in collet.
Mount the retaining clip.
