Loading the filter media into the bed filters

The bed filters are available in two versions; the differ by the filter housing- type A and type B.
There are no differences in the technological concepts of filters operation.

Accessing the container for loading (type A housing)

Remove the retaining clip of feed brine tube.

Remove the tube from the connector.

Hold the transfer sleeve with a wrench and unscrew the control valve by turning counterclockwise

Holding the container with one hand through the salt filler hatch, unscrew the transfer sleeve by turning counterclockwise using the wrench provided or by hand.

Accessing to the container for loading (type B housing)

Bend aside the shell wall sides, applying force at the points as shown in the figure. At the same time, lift the shell.

Remove the retaining clip from the bracket connected to the brine tube

Pull the brine tube out of the collet connector

Unscrew the control valve turning counterclockwise by hand.

Bend off the clip of the brine well cover, remove the cover.

Take apart the mounting frame by applying force at the points as shown in the figure and doingthat carefully and step-by-step.

Unscrew the sleeve with distribution basket from the container by turning counterclockwise with the provided wrench or by hand.

Loading the filter medium into the container

it is recommended to use a special funnel for ease loading media into the cylinder and to prevent the media from falling into the water supply pipe.

Measure out the desired amount of filter media. The volume of media that should be loaded is indicated in the filter data sheet.

Set the funnel so that the central cap overlaps the water-rising tube.

If no funnel is available, seal the water-rising tube with scotch tape.

Fill the cylinder with media using a measuring cup or some small container. Avoid spilling filter media into the filter housing.

Do not forget to remove the scotch tape from the water- rising tube!

Filter assembly (A type housing)

Screw the sleeve onto the cylinder by turning clockwise with the provided wrench.

Screw the control transfer sleeve into the sleeve by turning clockwise.

Install the brine tube into the connector.

Fix the brine tube with a clip.

Remove the protective labels from the control valve connections

Install the bypass on the control valve connections.

Fix the bypass with clips.

Filter assembling (B type housing)

Screw the transfer sleeve onto the container by turning clockwise with the provided wrench.

Install the mounting frame and salt well cover on the housing.

Screw the control valve into the sleeve by turning clockwise.

Remove the protective labels from the control valve connections

Install the bypass on the control valve connections and fix it with clips.

Install the brine tube in the connector, fix it witha clip.

Connect the display to the control valve.

Put the shell on the filter housing
