Before replacing the microfilter, shut off the filtrate by power off the desalination module or storage system. Close the valve on the pressure storage system hydraulic accumulator (if available).
Exhausted microfilter removing.
Remove the microfilter from the filter clip (wall mount)
Disconnect the flexible tube and the connectors of the adapters.
Unscrew the adapters from the exhausted microfilter.
New microfilter mounting.
Remove the new sterilizing microfilter from packaging and screw the thread adapters on the 1/4″ flexible tube. It is recommended to wrap fluoroplastic sealing material around the threads of the microfilter
Connect the flexible filtrate inlet and outlet tubes to the microfilter with consideration to the filtrate flow direction marked with an arrow on the microfilter body. Install the microfilter in the clip-fix (if available).
Distribution system compact sterilizing microfilter replacement
Exhausted microfilter removing.
Close the valve of the distribution system. Unscrew the exhausted microfilter from the threaded adapter of the distribution system.
New microfilter mounting.
Remove the compact sterilizing microfilter from packaging and screw it into the threaded adapter of the distribution system.
